Robert M Ross

I’m Robert, and I’ve lived and worked in various parts of Scotland, mostly in horticulture. Based in Clackmannanshire, I’m interested in bringing people together, growing communities, learning new things, using technology, playing music and engaging with nature.

What I can do - Horticulture

I’ve got practical hands-on gardening skills and knowledge, good experience in managing gardening and maintenance teams across the whole of Scotland, and a solid framework of qualifications too.

What I can do - Making things

I am always open to new creative projects of any kind – from an award-winning show garden to promotional material for horticultural societies, I can deliver what’s needed even in unfamiliar territories.

My background is in public amenity horticulture, working in public parks and cemeteries for the last decade.  I studied Horticulture at SAC Auchincruive and left in 2011 with an HND with Distinction. My main employer is currently the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

I’m also Vice-president of the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society.

I’m proud to be a member of the following organisations:

Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society

Chartered Institute of Horticulture
